Ellis and Sara Counts founded the Good Samaritans foundation,
in memory of their son Ellis III, which provides scholarships and assistance to those in need. The primary fund
raising event for the Good Samaritans is the Good Samaritan Ride. An event enthusiastically
supported by GWRRA Chapter G, GWRRA Chapter R, The Lone Wolf motorcycle club,
the Winchester & Tullahoma chapters of the Christian Motorcycle Association, Alabama GWRRA Chapter B, and several other motorcycle groups.
A special thanks to the corporate sponsors and local law enforcement officials. Pioneer Equipment Company in Winchester, TN, sold me my first and many bikes, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, trail bikes, chain saws, etc. over the years since 1964. They are a wonderful dealership having always been there with excellent service and fair dealings with me. They have sponsored the GSR from the beginning and now donate a set of Dunlop tires and more.
